About Informopedia

Who we are

Informopedia.net is an independent digital news publication. We cover world news, climate, economy, technology, science, culture, and health — alongside Informopedia Explains, our in-depth explainers that help readers genuinely understand complex stories instead of just skimming headlines.

Our mission

Authentic, unbiased journalism. We report what happened, verify it against multiple independent sources, and explain what it means. We do not take political sides, and we do not publish paid news disguised as journalism.

How we work

Every article is checked against at least two independent sources before publication. We cite primary sources — official announcements, company statements, government reports — directly in our articles. We do not invent quotes, figures, or details: if a fact cannot be confirmed, it is left out.

All article images are real, copyright-free photographs with proper attribution. We never use AI-generated images in our journalism, and we choose images that genuinely reflect the story.

Articles are credited to the Informopedia News Desk, our editorial team.

Corrections

When we make a mistake, we correct it openly and promptly. Read our Corrections Policy to see exactly how.

Our standards

How we verify, source, and illustrate our journalism is written down in our Editorial Standards.

Informopedia.com

Our sister project, Informopedia.com, is under development as an authoritative reference and educational website — a reliable knowledge resource, separate from this news publication.

Our Newsroom

Informopedia is an independent newsroom run by our editorial team together with freelance contributors. Our model is simple: independent journalists — no corporate owners, no political masters. We are building a global network of freelance reporters, from every region and in their own voice, so important stories get told accurately, whoever and wherever they affect.

We do not do biased reporting. Our journalism carries no political tilt — it is never shaped by political views, party loyalties, or the interests of any state. We answer only to our readers’ right to know. Everything we publish is neutral, verified, and independent, so you always get news that is true and authentic.

Every article is checked against multiple sources before publication, and when we get something wrong, we correct it openly under our Corrections Policy.
