Editorial Standards

Accuracy first

Every article published on Informopedia.net is verified against at least two independent sources before it goes live. We do not invent quotes, figures, names, or details. If a fact cannot be confirmed, it is left out of the story.

Sources and citations

We cite primary sources directly in our articles — official announcements, company blogs, government reports, scientific papers, and verified official social-media accounts. When a story centers on a public statement, we embed the original post and quote its key text, so readers can see the source for themselves. We do not present other news outlets’ reporting as our own.

Images

Every article image is a real, copyright-free photograph (never AI-generated), chosen to genuinely reflect the story, with photographer and license attribution. We do not use images from news agencies or sources with unclear licensing.

Independence

Our journalism is independent. We do not accept payment for coverage, and any sponsored content — if we ever carry it — will be clearly labeled as such.

Corrections

Mistakes happen; hiding them is not an option. Our full Corrections Policy explains how we fix errors openly.

Updates

Developing stories are updated as new verified facts emerge. Evergreen explainers carry their publication date, and significant updates are noted on the article.
